Good news from our Patron David Ferguson who's operation was very successful and he is now home recovering. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on deck very soon.
The GM and Sausage Sizzle at Brennan Park went down very well with 24 members turning up for a chat and a feed and of course an update on what has happenned over the past 2 months and what is about to happen leading up to the Christmas Break.
Our next Coffee & Cake Morning meeting will be on Friday 23rd October at Cafe 63
Banksia Beach Shopping Centre commencing at 1000hrs.
Gary Parsons of BIDCA reminded us that the last BIDCA Sunday Market will be held at Brennan Park on Sunday 18th October, come down and and check out the Market and say your farewells to Gary and the BIDCA team.
RAFFLES AT THE RSL
Raffles at the RSL are conducted on Wednesday from1530hrs onwards, the draw is made directly after "The Ode" which is at 1800hrs.
These raffles are our only fundraiser and all profits go towards supporting members of the association.
We have a small group of dedicated members wo are there every Wednesday but they would like to have more support.
If you can’t or don’t want to go to the RSL on Wednesday Nights, you can
pre-purchase your tickets monthly by sending a message from the
"Contact the Committee page on this website, then a committee person
will contact you regarding the purchaase of tickets.
Cost is $2.00 per ticket – Prizes are vouchers from Aussie Meats
Each Wednesday there are two raffles drawn.
